TRAINING

Architettura per la Natura

On 19 May 2018 the intensive training programme NOW Summer School came to an end. It involved young architects, curators and artists from the universities of Udine, Trieste, IUAV Venice, IED Rome, Alghero, Brera Academy in Milan and Villa Arson in Nice.

Promoted by the Livio Felluga Company and coordinated by NOW New Operation Wave, the workshops of the Summer School were inspired by issues related to the landscape, environmental protection and respect for the balance between humanity and nature.

The results materialized in three works which were experimental, autonomous and modular, a clear reminder of Friedman's circular structures and of his architectural theory: seats, screens, liveable sculptures, unique pieces, examples of sustainability, self-production, self-organization and mobility.

The project was supported by Cluster Arredo and Sistema Casa as a partner, and with the involvement of local companies and businessmen with an interest in similar experimental projects: Riccardo Meterc of METERC maestro of pvc weaving for the design projects of major international brands, and Luca Toso of Tafaruci Design, high profile carpenter who has worked with a number of companies in the manufacture of iron frameworks for their products.

A day dedicated to landscape protection, nature and awareness of issues dear to Vigne Musuem, organized with the aim of propagating ethical thinking and a regenerative approach towards our environment. For a more sensitive and careful contemporary society.
