Federico Casagrande and Carlo Laurenzi
The Contemporaneo at the Vigne Museum after a year's pause restarts with its line of pure experimentation in the field of visual, performing and musical arts.
Il On July 16, 2021 at 9.30 pm the concert Le Miroir Magique took place composed by the guitarist Federico Casagrande and the computer sound designer Carlo Laurenzi.
The event was an integral part of the More Than Jazz Festival.
The use of electronics, sometimes as an independent element, sometimes as a means of altering the material from the guitar , adds new colour and depth to the performances of the duo Casagrande and Laurenzi.
The meeting between Federico Casagrande and Carlo Laurenzi gave rise to a long quest to understand how to create a language in which, both composed and extemporary sounds can come together in dialogue, influencing each other.
