MEETINGS
Architettura per la Natura
On 19 May 2018 the intensive training programme NOW Summer School came to an end. It involved young architects, curators and artists from the universities of Udine, Trieste, IUAV Venice, IED Rome, Alghero, Brera Academy in Milan and Villa Arson in Nice.
The results of the three residency projects entitled Architecture for Nature, which since September 2017 have highlighted the events inspired by the permanent installation designed by Yona Friedman with Jean-Baptiste Decavèle, were presented in a panel discussion, of the same title, moderated by Giovanna Felluga, artistic coordinator of the Vigne Museum, which was attended by representatives of the world of art and science: Jean-Baptiste Decavèle (artist and joint creator of the Vigne Museum with Yona Friedman), Maurizio Bortolotti (contemporary art curator), Pietro Maroè (young "arbonaut" author of the book The timidity of the foliage), Dora Stiefelmeier (founder member of the No Man's Land Foundation, of which Yona Friedman is the Honorary President), Marco Tagliafierro (critic, curator and journalist). To open the meeting and to do the honours, Elda Felluga, co-owner and manager of external relations for the Livio Felluga Company.
