MEETINGS

Vienna-Lubiana

The Vigne Museum inaugurated its first year of activity with two events abroad, at Vienna and Ljubljana.

The Vigne Museum opened in 2015 with a series of events that reconfirmed its dual nature devoted to contemporary art - through encounters with representatives from the cultural sphere of international standing - and science, ecology, important issues relating to the landscape, environmental protection and land conservation.

Achieved in collaboration with RAM radioartemobile of Rome and included in the touring exhibition D/A/C - Denominazione Artistica Condivisa (Shared Artistic Name), the Vigne Museum goes beyond the mere identity of an installation to stand as a symbol, as a virtual museum.

The European capitals of Vienna and Ljubljana played host to the Vigne Museum, thus confirming its strategic geographical location.

On May 15, 2015 Salotto Vienna, an event curated by Jürgen Weishäupl, hosted Maurizio Felluga to illustrate the activities of the Vigne Museum in 2015.

On June 2, the Livio Felluga Company took part in the celebrations for Italian Republic Day at the City Museum in Ljubljana.
On this occasion, the video reportage Livio Felluga 100 by Luigi Vitale was shown, which narrates the birth of the Vigne Museum, a tribute to the centenary of Livio Felluga.
